Mass Intentions/Offerings

It is a longstanding tradition in the Church that a Priest may be requested to offer a Mass for a specific intention, even when one cannot be physically present at the Mass.

"In accordance with the approved custom of the Church, any priest who celebrates or concelebrates a Mass may accept an offering to apply the Mass for a specific intention." (Canon 945 §1)

You may request Mass to be offered for:

• a sick loved one
• a specific intention of thanksgiving
• a deceased person
• or any other specifc intentions
