Matrimony

In Matrimony a baptized man and woman are united with each other as a sign of the unity between Jesus and his Church. Matrimony requires the consent of the couple, as expressed in the marriage promises. The couple and their wedding rings are the signs of this sacrament.

REQUIREMENTS TO GET MARRIED AT THE CATHEDRAL:

• Parishioner or attending Mass at the Cathedral
• Completed Marriage Preparation 
• Completed Interview with the Cathedral Rector and documents submission 
• Marriage License (Civil)

In order to allow sufficient time for the process of getting married in the Church, engaged couples are asked to give at least six months notice to the Cathedral Rector before the intended date of marriage.
